God in my Garden
Scripture says that ‘If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old is gone, and the new is here!’ And so the eager Christian waits for this new person to emerge - free, able to say no to sin and bearing much fruit for the glory of God. But for many of us, the reality is often different. The journey of sanctification can feel agonizingly slow, our fruits can seem so small, and the falls are too many. Slowly, hope begins to fade - until we see ourselves the way God does.
God's Grace Through God's People
In trying times, we tend to withdraw and become action-driven, striving to manage everything on our own. Yet God invites us into deeper intimacy with himself and with his community, so that we can experience his abundant grace, not as a result of our effort, but as a gift of his presence.
The Calm Within the Storm
Our fallen nature can cause us to wander and lose focus of God and his kingdom. But God who is rich in mercy has his way of drawing us back to himself and creating in us a sense of urgency to redeem time that the Lord has graciously given us.
Intercepted by Grace: Finding God in my Loneliness
When we find ourselves in seasons where loneliness feels closer than ever, accompanied by uncertainty and restless nights - this reflection traces a quiet yet powerful encounter with God’s presence. Through intentional rhythms in the day, it reveals how moments of isolation can become spaces of deep intimacy with Christ.
Even Now, Even in This
When uncertainty beckons, we can find ourselves wasting precious time in the mundane speculations and the ‘what ifs’. We can instead choose to be real with our feelings and meaningful in our conversations so that we make most of that which the Lord has entrusted to our care.
When the Noise Grows Loud
In times of uncertainty, we are often drawn to fix our gaze on all that is happening around us, easily tempted to respond like the world does. But when a believer intentionally turns away from the noise and fixes their eyes on Jesus, they find true rest and security in him. We will then be able to rejoice and worship, even in the midst of the storm.
Fighting the Good Fight
In seasons where life feels uncertain and routines are disrupted, we are not called to drift—but to be disciplined. This is a time to wake early and hear from God, to care for our bodies, to embrace solitude, to cherish time with family, and to kneel more often in prayer. What feels like disruption is, in fact, an invitation—to draw nearer, live intentionally, and be shaped into a people who depend fully on God. Let us not waste these days, but redeem them with purpose and faith.
